The term “whistleblower” refers to an individual who reports to authorized bodies violations or irregularities that compromise the integrity of a company, facilitating the disclosure of illicit activities.

The purpose of the report is to prevent or address a current or potential problem promptly. It is an act through which the whistleblower contributes to the identification and prevention of risks and situations harmful to a company.

Whistleblowing is the corporate compliance tool aimed at encouraging reports and protecting both the company and the individual making the report. This involves providing the whistleblower with a protective system based on confidentiality and a prohibition on retaliatory measures.

Trevi Paper Mills has sought to comply with the provisions of Legislative Decree March 10, 2023, No. 24, which incorporates into Italy Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019, regarding the protection of persons reporting breaches of Union law.

To this end, the company has drafted the following “Whistleblowing Policy,” which regulates the process of transmission, receipt, analysis, and management of reports.
